I am crazy for birdhouses. Always have loved them and always had them around my house. I have them on poles all over the farm. Am hoping that the telephone and electric companies do not mind me borrowing space! This spring I added a few old cedar posts and put birdhouses on top for a nice effect. I have lots of extra houses I brought from town that need to be repaired and perhaps a coat of paint here and there then I will find fun places for them to reside. I wonder how many qualify as “tacky”?
Bunny, thought I’d check out your website. What a hoot. I love birdhouses as well. I also love feeding the birds. I have 6 hummingbird feeders, and several regular bird feeders. Right now I am enjoying numerous Goldfinches that vist the thistle feeders.
You can never have to many birdhouses!
My favorite one is one that my granddaughters gave me for Christmas about 3 years ago. It is made out of old grape vines. I’ll see if I can’t send you a picture. If I can find where they got it, I’ll send you one. It’s fabulous.
