With so many terrible tragedies and needs around the world it is impossible for us to donate to every single cause (at least in my household). Campbell Soup offers a easy way to give back to U.S. kids and it will cost you nothing more than a can of soup. Many of you who have children or grandchildren already know about the Campbell’s Labels for Education program. Some of you may be collecting soup labels and saving the UPC code. I save my Campbell Soup labels through Delta Gamma Sorority. DG donates thousands of labels to the Delta Gamma Schools for the Blind. The schools can use labels to purchase toys and educational material geared for children who are visually challenged. What a wonderful and easy way to help. I know many of you cook from scratch, but imagine many of you use the soups as an easy base from time to time. I know I grew up with Campbell’s Tomato/Campbell’s Chicken Noodle when I was sick; I still reach for them when infirm! And who has not made the Green Bean Casserole for a special holiday? If you currently do not know anyone collecting you might call a local elementary school to see if they are participating. It is a great way to give back to your community without having to write a check. You can go to the Campbell Soup Website and click on the Labels for Education for a list of all the food products included in this program. Thanks for “doing good”.

We don’t eat canned soup, but participate in the label program. We write the label info on the cans w/ a sharpie and donate the cans to the food bank or the emergency preparedness kit programs at the schools.
That is a really neat way to participate and you end up helping two agencies!
