Beautiful Bath Salts

These are the easiest and cutest bath salts you have ever seen. This weekend my local Delta Gamma chapter hosted our annual Founders Day. Our color theme was a pretty vivid pink and yellow. One of our members made these precious bath salts to match our programs. It made for absolutely striking favors to match our theme. They are so easy it is shameful!

  • 1 Zip Lock Bag
  • 1/3 Cup Sea Salt
  • 1 Cup Epsom Salts
  • Couple of drops of essential oil or fragrance
  • A Couple of Drops of Food Coloring
  • Mix

Our DG ,who made this recipe, had to make these for 160 women so made much larger quantity. She mixed the bath salts in double trash bag (if you use white bags you can better judge your colors). We put ours in small clear bags (you can get on Ebay) and put tiny clear label on bag. It made for classy favors that was so friendly on our budget. You can put your homemade bath salts in pretty clear containers, sherbet glasses, or tiny little jars for a beautiful, economical gift.

  1. What a great idea!
I love giving/getting bath salts as gifts.
I like to keep them in clear jars in the bathroom too.
It is so cold here this morning, I think a hot bath is calling me now… 🙂

The thing I love about this is you can color them any color or add any oil. And best of all so very cheap!
