Spring Flowers Fading

Spring is gone and summer is here. Here are my last few wildflower shots from our early May flowers. We will really miss our beautiful wildflowers!

I love the golden color of the Creeping Oxeye.

One last look at our Indian Blankets. I am ordering seeds to plant in my flower beds next spring.

Notice the bee gathering nectar inside this Evening Primrose.

  1. Oh wow I can see why you would want to order seeds for the Indian Blankets, gorgeous colors!

They are my favorites for sure and I never realized I could plant them in yard. Just thought they grew in wild only, so I am very excited at prospect of having them close.

  2. I love those Indian Blankets…never heard of those before. Wonder if they would grow in these parts? Hmmm.

You can go to Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center website and look up your area & it will tell you if they will grow in your area.
