  1. The wild life really does suffer when the weather is like that. Fortunately they have places like yours! Jack rabbits usually don’t just hang around for everybody. Good shot of this one.

It’s the worst I have seen it in years. I have never had jackrabbits come so close in day time. Usually see them in pasture and corral around dusk and they run if they see me. It actually made me sad this last couple of weeks when they are so hungry they sacrificed their usual behavior…

Now that’s a rabbit! Quite a lot bigger than the bunnies that run around Plano!

They really are big, but these poor things are really hungry with the heat and no grass… Thanks for visiting my blog and hope you return.

  3. Oh no! We could certainly spare you some rain. Western Canada is wetter than it’s been in 50 years, and it seems to rain here every couple of days as well. We were lucky to get our crops in the ground early though. Can’t say I’ve ever seen an armadillo!!

We could use our rain, but you would not want our pesky armadillos. They make a mess in your yard in no time flat! Did LOTS of holes… Glad you dropped by and hope you return soon!

    Look at those ears! Wow!

Yes, aren’t they cute! Everyone loves cottontails and I do also, but jackrabbits have the personality!
