Stray Kitty

I took this shot of Stray last summer. Yes, that is her name. She is the owner of my people friends. She was adopted as a stray cat and has had a very loving home for many years now. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle at night. She is also very independent and will only shower you with her love when she determines that it is the right time. When I am in Montana she is my sleeping buddy and I very much love having her. She is an indoor kitty, but in Montana she is allowed to take in some sunshine each day. There are too many critters at night so she stays in to catch a long cat’s nap with “her people”! She has the softest hair and is very pretty. Hooray to my friends for adopting this pretty kitty!

  1. I love your blog site! and the fact that you are at least a parttime Montanan (what I gathered from your posts) I am a native living in WA. On your photos of your farm – which by the way reminds me of TX hill country – there is photo of a road and some trees in the background. I will have to post a painting I did of a similar road in SE WA that looks quite similar. My next post will have that painting in it…take a look!
My blog is mostly about art and painting with pastels. I spend as much time as I can in MT in the summer and fall…love that state! Ever been to the Bucking Horse Sale in Miles City?
    Love this post about Stray.

You are so lucky to live in the NW. So many beautiful areas to paint! I visit friends every summer in Montana and love it there. Never tire of that state! Thanks for dropping by. Your art is awesome…
