    Very lucky two!

  2. They are so cute! I think that the names are perfect.

  3. I LOVE the names and they are just so dang sweet looking. With your family’s love they will blossom as time goes on. Oh how fortunate you were able to take them in and save them! Big hearts will always rule the day. . .

  4. Somehow Patty and Lily sound like perfectly good girl-donkey names to me! So glad they found a good home with you – terrible that people would do that to any animal.

I am glad they “found” their way here. They are extra special. Cannot help but love them…

  5. Although it’s more work for you and Cowboy, these two sweeties were so lucky to have been abandoned at your place! The names look very fitting and I’m so glad they are slowly adjusting to their new home and friends. Please keep us updated with their progress – they’re so cute!

The donkey’s and goats are pretty easy. Just keep barn clean, wormed, lots of fresh water and a good brushing on which I am behind on! After grass goes away then we pitch hay… I really did not need any more, but they were just too sweet. The expensive part are the vet bills. I just could not turn them away. I am happy to do without something else to provide them with a safe and happy place to live…

  6. Oh, I’m so glad they are doing well!! I firmly believe there is a special place in hell for those who mistreat animals. Your kindness to those two sweet girls is such a gift … for them and for you and Cowboy!

I think a lot of people get animals on impulse & do not think about long-term commitments. Donkey’s live a long time. You have to think what is best for animal…
