Most of us grow up watching the Rose Bowl Parade on TV. I never ever imagined I would finally make it there, but indeed I did and it was one of the highlights of my life. You can cannot imagine the beauty of the floats with all the flowers, plants and seeds. Each float is […]
It’s Friday so I thought I would share my “most” favorite London pub. I can already tell that there will be more to this story so hang on tight as my ramblings might take you on a few zigs and zags. The Grenadier is one of London’s oldest pubs and it lives up to what […]
I want to introduce you to my new friend, Teton Teddy. Teton Teddy lives with one of my long-time friends. He was a “rescue” from Jackson, Wyoming. This past May they all took a fun road trip to southern New Mexico. He was able to visit the vast endless New Mexico landscapes and he even visited Carlsbad Caverns. Teton Teddy […]
I photographed this rainbow in Bath, England. It was the most brilliant rainbow I have ever seen. It was a large rainbow and the colors were so vivid that they just popped out at you. Lucky to catch this special sight. It was so amazing that I thought we might actually find that pot of gold!
I would imagine that the Roman Baths are one of the largest tourist attractions in England as they are fabulous. They are located in the English city of Bath which is a gorgeous city. Bath is roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes from London if you take the express train. The Roman Baths are one of the oldest […]
Snapped this photo in Kensington Park across from Kensington Palace. No photos allowed in the palace so this little beauty was just waiting to have her picture taken! Swans are always lovely. I love her reflection on the water. She may be my screen-saver in January when it is cold and nasty outside.
If you ever go to London you must visit Camden Lock and all it’s many markets. What a fun place to visit. This part of town is comprised of many markets, shops and food experiences that would not be typical of London. If you want to buy a pashmina shawl then this is the place […]
Spotted these English Sunflowers in a little Oxford flower market. Wow, you should have seen how excited I got upon spying them! Sunflowers in any country is a good thing. They had other lovely flowers. And more… Notice the cute little decorative worms they sold. (Click on photo to enlarge)
Weekend Cowgirl is finally back in the saddle again! Thanks for all the emails wondering where in the heck I have been and why I have not been posting photos for the last two weeks. Well… (drum roll)… I just arrived home today from visiting London and surrounding areas and what a grand time I had. I […]
If you have never been to Glacier National Park then you are missing the most beautiful park ever. I have been at least 50 times and never tire of the wildlife, nature and scenic views. I think I could go into the park every single day and never tire of visiting there. One of the […]
Just got back from a quick girl’s trip to celebrate the last of summer. I love the water and love summer. One of the things I miss most in the winter is not being able to lay by a pool and swim. Took a few days to get in the last summer swim with friends and […]
Took photo of this Griz two weeks ago in Glacier National Park. Isn’t he a beauty? In case you are wondering, I was in the car and he was about 30 feet to my left in some bushes. I took one quick snapshot and then we drove off before he decided he needed meat instead […]
