The state of Texas is known for its wild rodeos and western culture. With so many rodeos out there, it can be hard to narrow down the list and choose one. Here are some of the best, most exciting rodeos in Texas that will be taking place in 2021.
Rodeo Austin
Rodeo Austin is a classic Texas rodeo experience, complete with roping, barrel racing, bareback riding, and several other exciting events. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
The Houston Rodeo is known for its wide variety of events. Besides classic bull riding, this rodeo also hosts horse shows, concerts, shootouts, and more. You can even taste some authentic Texas food at the annual barbecue. It will be held from March 2-21 in 2021, so you’ll have plenty of time to get out there and have some good old fashioned fun. Big Bend Ranch Rodeo
The Big Bend Ranch Rodeo offers an exciting look into the everyday work on a farm. Watch real farm boys compete in their typical work tasks. Showcased events include ranch bronc riding, wild cow milking, and more. Taking place in Alpine, Texas, the Ranch Rodeo is a small town, old fashioned experience. Marble Falls Rodeo
The Marble Falls Rodeo has been around since 1957 when Charlie Taylor founded it. This rodeo is an authentic Texas-style and hasn’t changed much in the last sixty years. You’ll enjoy old fashioned bareback riding, shootouts, and of course, bull riding. This small town, authentic rodeo won’t disappoint even the rodeo skeptic. The Marble Falls Rodeo is held every year mid-July and is typically accompanied by a parade and food festival with barbecue, desserts, and other delicious foods.
Fort Worth Stock and Show Rodeo
The Forth Worth Stock and Show Rodeo will be held from January 15th to February 6th of 2021. This shows features livestock shows and competitions, horse shows, and other fun contests such as the calf scramble, the beef challenge, and the 4-H competition. San Angelo Stock and Show Rodeo
